1978 Colorado Jet Boat This boat has been completely rebuilt from the hull up. It has new bucket seats, new carpet, and remainder of interior of boat has been “Rhino” lined. The paint job is in very good shape with a minimum number of nicks, etc. The boat has 2 aluminum tube shaped 11 gallon each fuel tanks with selector valve mounted beside driver’s seat. Kill switch with lanyard is mounted on driver’s side. “Hot Foot” throttle, trim, and reverse controls mounted between seats. The engine gauges are all new in 2008. The Berkley 12JC-A pump was professionally rebuilt in April of 2008 by Gator Boats L.L.C. in Cuba Missouri. “Droop Snoot” and custom “Aluminum Ride Plate” are installed on the “Place Diverter Controls” nozzle. Pump nozzle has been custom machined to accept “F.T.N.” (fine tuned nozzle) of which two sizes are included. I have two impellers that sell with the boat at asking price. One is a stock aluminum “AA” cut and the other which is currently installed is an Aggressor Mag-Bronze “A” cut. The engine was built by HGM, Inc. in Lebanon, Missouri in January of 2009. The engine block is “Tall Deck” 427c.i. bored .060” over which makes it a solid 465c.i. B.B.C. It has a 4.25” stroke Scat Forged Steel Crankshaft, new stainless steel frost plugs, R & R Cam Bearings, a 11-240-4 Comp Camshaft with 234 on the Intake and 244 on the Exhaust, 858-16 Comp Cam Hyd. Lifters, Scat 6.80 H-Beam Rods, # 290 GM Heads with 2.190” stainless intake valves and 1.720” Inconel exhaust valves, Mildon windage tray, 3879623 GM Damper, oil pan has been enlarged to 8 quart capacity, engine has been balanced and painted. It has an MSD 6-AL Ignition with a 6000 rpm rev limiter pill installed and is matched to a MSD Pro Billet Distributor and a MSD Blaster Coil & MSD spark plug wires. The intake manifold is a “Weiand Team G” high rise single plane aluminum with a 650 Holley double pumper 4-corner idle adjust. It also has a new set of “Bassett” over-transom water cooled open headers. Too many other specs to list but are included on receipts and printed info. Engine was run in and dynoed at Rolla Competition Engines, LLC in Rolla, Missouri. The engine was run up and tuned 11 times during an 8 (plus) hour period on 93 octane regular gasoline. Final peak horsepower/torque spec at was 452.3 H.P. @ 5000 rpm. All spec sheets and info included with sale. Also a video CD of the dyno event is included. The trailer is a single axle with brand new bearings, seals, and “Bearing Buddies”. This is a very fast boat out of the box with a top end of 75-80 mph.
