1971 Sanger Flat Bottom This is a 1971 Sanger, 17 ft. 10in. flat bottom v-drive drag boat. The motor was professionally built at a local speed shop. It was timed on the trailer and then launched just once for a modest test run. This is a 468 cu. in. big block chevy. It is a high performance block with Z-L1 aluminum heads on top held down with ARP studs. The pistons are Manley 12.5 to 1. There is a Lunati roller cam and a General Kenitics roller rocker. Race girdles are on the valve trains. There's an Edelbrock Victor tunnel ram with a Barry Grant 1195 c.f.m. carb. on top. There's a brand new Mallory ignition and an Auto Meter rev. limiter. There is a Melling race oil pump and a Carter elect. fuel pump, 14 qt. Windage oil pan and a Moon fuel cell. There are Basset wet stack headers and the Casale v-drive was just rebuilt. I could list so much more that has been doen to this gem. This is a turn key boat sitting on a well cared for tandem trailer. The Boat takes a set and runs straight and hard. Boat located in CA.
